John Ameh, AbujaTraditional rulers in Kogi State have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to appoint an indigene of the state to the position of a senior minister in his next cabinet and not a minister of state. The monarchs stated that Kogi deserved more than a minister of state, having worked hard for the President’s re-election for a second term. The President, Kogi State Council of Chiefs and Attah Igala, His Royal Majesty, Dr Michael Idakwo-Oboni, led the traditional rulers to the meeting. By the grace of God, since we are supporting Mr President, it is natural and normal for him to pay us back in the right coins. “So, we are happy to announce to our people at home that Mr President has promised to treat us very well.
