In news that isn’t all that surprising but not any less maddening, Aladdin star Mean Massoud recently revealed he hasn’t had a single audition since playing the iconic role in the billion-dollar Disney blockbuster. “There’s always a wild card or two when you’re casting,” he said. “I’m usually the wild card. And maybe they’ll be the wild card choice.”Massoud said he was only ever offered terrorist roles, for example, that of “al Qaeda #2” in the CW series Nikita. I can’t tell you I know how things are going to work out anymore.”
