The Winnipeg Jets have dipped into the NHL’s discard pile once again, this time coming up with well-travelled 27-year-old forward Nick Shore. Shore was placed on waivers by Toronto, after playing 21 games with the Leafs this season and recording two goals and a single assist. A third-round draft pick of the L.A. Kings in 2011, Shore has played 257 NHL games with the Kings, Ottawa, Calgary and Toronto. To make roster room for Shore, Winnipeg placed defenceman Dmitry Kulikov on injured reserve. The Jets, coming off a 5-1 home win over Dallas on Tuesday, play the rematch in Dallas on Thursday.
