#KuToo has made us think (again) about why we’re wearing super-high heels in the first place. A social-media campaign, with an online petition, the movement demanded that the government ban companies requiring women to wear heels on the job, either in their policies or because of social expectation. High heels cause everything from blisters, bunions, and back aches to bone and nerve inflammation, even hairline fractures. Have you ever worn heels that are as comfortable as sneakers? And god bless the many women (Sara Ali Khan who is the new face of Puma, Bobbi Brown who has stopped wearing heels) who have made them look good.
