Justice Naima Haider and Justice Zafar Ahmed issued the rule on Monday following a writ petition. Barrister Badruddoza Badal and Mohammed Shahidul Islam Shamim filed the petition to the court. Aviation companies are charging indiscriminately for domestic flights charging exorbitantly for ticket cancellation, extra luggage and others services, Badruddoza told bdnews24.com. “There is no policy or regulation for fixing the charges which allows the companies to charge customers whatever they want,” he said. “That is why the High Court has issued a rule regarding plane fare and other charges on domestic routes.”The High Court has asked the civil aviation and tourism secretary, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, all private aviation companies and others concerned to respond in four weeks.
