Quick thinking police officers from Hamilton are being praised for saving the life of a man who crashed his car into a furniture building after suffering a medical event. Veysey and Watson were at the man's side within minutes of the crash and pulled the man from his car before performing CPR. It was really cool being able to do CPR and use a defib and get a result from it. Sergeant Darren Hayes said police were hoping to arrange for the officers involved to meet the man and his family at some point. "From everything we've heard from the staff at the hospital, it was the difference of him living - which was awesome.''
