Police said the accident occurred on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway around 8am on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Md Hasan Khan and 30-year-old Liton Sheikh. They were travelling on the three-wheeler which collided with a local bus, said highway police's Sub-Inspector Md Nizamul Islam. Both of them died on the spot while seven others including the driver of the three-wheeler sustained injuries. The SI said those injured had been taken to the Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
