The incident was reported on Saturday from the Companyganj Upazila, said police. Additional Superintendent of Police Sugyan Chakma said the clash at Mustafanagar Village left 'more than 50 persons' injured. The deceased have been identified as 55-year-old Jilu Mia and 50-year-old Mafiz Mia. Chakma told bdnews24.com that around 4am, a group of robbers attacked Jilu Mia's house and killed him. Mafiz Mia died on the spot in police firing, said Companyganj Upazila administration chief (UNO) Abul Lais.
