more-inConcerned over the recent spate of crimes against women in the State, the Haryana government has decided to centralise its women helpline number-1091 to provide round-the-clock immediate response to any women in distress. At present, the helpline number 1091 is running at the district level. This was disclosed by Chief Secretary D.S. Dhesi and Additional Chief Secretary, Home, S.S. Prasad during a media interaction in Chandigarh on Monday. The Chief Secretary said that culprits in all theses cases would be identified at the earliest and stern action as per law would be taken against them.
