Following this, the police were deployed in the villages to prevent a clash and 10 persons from each group were arrested. According to police, the bull race was held in Adhamangalam Pudur and Kettavarampalayam near Kadaladi on Sunday. The two groups had brought their bulls to the race. About 20 police constables have been deployed at the spot to prevent untoward incidents.
