Hong Kong stocks traded nearly flat but technology companies slumped in the morning. The Hang Seng Index inched up 4.64 points to HK$26,391.2, with a half-day turnover of HK$104.8 billion. The Hang Seng Tech Index fell by 3.27 percent at 7,876.28. The best performer among blue chips was China Unicom (0762), whose shares won 5.2 percent at HK$4.68. In mainland China, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index was up by 0.30 percent to 3,406.69, while the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Composite Index edged up by 0.18 percent to 2,278.12.
