Vice-president of the HKJA, Ronson Chan Long-shing said the association had filed an appeal over the police ban on Sunday's march. The Hong Kong Journalists Association has filed an appeal against the police ban over their Sunday march on Hong Kong Island regarding the arrest of RTHK producer Bao Choy Yuk-ling. A police spokesman said the march would pose health risks to citizens and participants, it is also a breach of the social gathering cap. Vice-president of the HKJA, Ronson Chan Long-shing said the association will implement various health measures to ensure the safety of the participants and citizens. “We hope the march could draw the attention of authorities and the general public,” he added.
