She and her husband, former defense secretary Gilberto Teodoro, local officials and residents of AMOR Village welcomed Go to the event. Go noted that the Department of Social Welfare and Development supervised AMOR Village, while the provincial government of Tarlac subsidized its operation. Go noted that one of his priorities was the protection and welfare of the youth particularly abandoned children. Go said one of his top advocacies was to improve the delivery of health services in the entire country, particularly vulnerable sectors like abandoned children and indigent families.
