Using a 12-hit attack, the Giants scored in five different innings, including twice in the seventh to turn a tight game into a 6-2 advantage. Dickerson’s homer, in the second inning, was his second of the season. Reyes Moronta pitched out of a two-on, two-out jam to preserve a 3-2 lead in the sixth to begin the run of successful Giants relief efforts. In a non-save situation, the Giants closer struck out Ketel Mare and David Peralta to secure just San Francisco’s second win in five games on its current seven-game homestand.
