Germany, France vows to support Iran nuclear deal even if US pulls out

Germany and France agreed to continue supporting the Iran nuclear deal even if the United States pulled out from the agreement. At a joint press meet, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said the world became "safer" with the ratifying of the Iran deal. Earlier, United States President Donald Trump said he will announce a decision on the Iran nuclear deal at the White House on Tuesday afternoon. The US President rebuffed the nuclear agreement reached with Iran as the "worst deal ever." The Iran nuclear deal was signed between six countries in 2015 - Iran, US, Britain, Germany, Russia, France and China for lifting economic sanctions on Tehran in exchange for limitations to the country's nuclear programme.
