ET Intelligence Group: Indostar Capital Finance plans to raise Rs 700 crore of fresh capital from the primary market apart from offering promoter shares worth up to Rs 1,144 crore. Between FY13 and FY17, its loan book increased by 30 per cent annually to Rs 5,235.9 crore. Higher NPA reflects lower asset quality. While the lower valuation of Indostar reflects the past deterioration in the asset quality, the expected shift in the business model towards the retail segment should improve it. Hence, the IPO looks suitable for long-term investors.
