Georgia wide receiver George Pickens, who was ejected in the third quarter against Georgia Tech, will be suspended for the first half of next week’s SEC championship game against LSU. Pickens caught one pass for a 41-yard touchdown that increased Georgia’s lead to 31-7. The third-quarter incident occurred after quarterback Jake Fromm threw a touchdown pass to Dominick Blaylock that gave the Bulldogs a 38-7 lead. The fight also included Pickens throwing Swilling into a retaining wall in the end zone. Georgia is already without Lawrence Cager (33 catches for 476 yards), who suffered an ankle injury in practice this week.
