A 52-year-old gas station staff was certified dead at around 1pm yesterday, after fighting for her life for four days since she had been sandwiched between a car and a pillar at a Sha Tin gas station last Sunday. The staff, Tung, was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin unconscious after the accident. At around 11 am, the staff was fuelling a white Toyota car at a Caltex gas station on the Sha Tin Heights section of Tai Po Road. Shortly afterward, the black Mercedes-Benz car that was heading along the same road towards Kowloon suddenly lost control and charged into the gas station. The staff was then sandwiched between the Toyota and the pillar, falling into a coma.
