The Centre for Health Protection is set to confirm over 20 Covid patients in the city today. Hong Kong yesterday confirmed 8 Covid patients – six local and two imported – bringing the tally to 11,129 cases. Health officials yesterday reported a suspected outbreak at a gym – Ursus Fitness in Sai Ying Pun. A 27-year-old fitness trainer has been diagnosed with Covid with his source of infection unknown, while there are nine other preliminary positive cases involving staff and customers. The centre appeals to those who visited the gym from March 1 to 10 to call the centre's hotlines 2125 1111 or 2125 1122 as soon as possible to facilitate epidemiological investigations and contact tracing.
