KUALA LUMPUR: The coming general election will determine the future of Gerakan, said party deputy president Dr Cheah Soon Hai. He said this during a press conference at the 45th Gerakan National Delegates Conference at Menara PGRM, Pudu on Saturday. Cheah also said that the party had submitted a letter of protest to Barisan National on the redelineation of voter areas by the Election Committed (EC). He added that about 30% of Gerakan seats would be affected by the redelineation exercise. For now, it has not been decided if Gerakan will be swapping any of its seats with its Barisan partners.
