Projects include construction of flyover, pedestrian bridges, roads and groundsLAHORE: The governing body of the Lahore Development Authority has accorded an administrative approval to execute six new development projects in the city at a cost of more than Rs2 billion. There will also be the construction of a flyover at Shaukat Khanum intersection to facilitate 200,000 vehicles on a daily basis. Road signs along Canal Bank Road, from Doctor’s Hospital to Mughalpura underpass, will be installed for a sum of Rs200 million. Projects include the remodelling of Doongi Ground and MM Alam Road through better landscape, constructing entrance arcade and providing central entertainment areas at a cost of Rs110 million. A sum of Rs100.5 million will be spent on the rehabilitation and improvement of Noor Jehan Road from Hussain Chowk to Liberty Gulberg Roundabout.
