Winter vacation for public, private schools in Sindh announced
Education institutions to remain closed from December 22 to 31 across the provinceThe Sindh Education Department has announced 10 days winter vacation starting from December 22 to 31 for all public and private schools in the province, Express News reported on SundayAs the Met office has already forecast a record drop in mercury in parts of the country, the scheduled vacation may be extended. Sindh schools demand extension in winter vacations following cold spellThe notification has been sent to all educational institution in the province. Previously, with the dropping temperature and increasing cold weather in Sindh, the All Private Schools Management Association (APSMA) had requested schools to give either a one-week holiday or half-an-hour relaxation time to students in the morning.
