Guwahati, Feb 13: The Assam Government has decided to withdraw all Covid-19 restrictions from February 15 including reopening of schools for all classes. Assam Govt to withdraw Covid-19 restrictions from February 15Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that all Covid-19 restrictions will be withdrawn from February 15 in the State, this includes reopening of schools and lifting of night curfew owing to a decline in Covid positive cases. Sub Inspector (SI) Pradip Baniya was suspended for his alleged involvement in the firing incident in Nagaon. The DGP was also directed to transfer the anti-narcotics squad of Nagaon police, excluding the Superintendent of Police. Meanwhile, Nagaon superintendent of police Anand Mishra was transferred for his comments on the one-man inquiry commission report on the firing incident.
