Share:The honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr Imran Khan during his live question/answer session dated 23rd January 2022 with the public on national television mentioned and complained that half of the tax revenue collected by his government has to be spent on interest and repayments of loans taken by the last two governments Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (years 2013 to 2018) and Pakistan People’s Party (years 2008 to 2013). The enquiry commission, the Prime Minister said, will have representatives from the Investigation Bureau, Federal Investigation Agency, Federal Board of Revenue, Security and Exchange Commission and Inter-Service Agency. I would like to request the Prime Minister to share with the nation’s findings of the above mentioned high-level commission and actions taken in this matter so far. EJAZ AHMAD MAGOON,London.
