At least four people have been killed and 20 others injured after a bus collided with a truck and fell into a trench beside the highway in Gopalganj. The accident took place in Dhaka-Khulna highway near Kashiani upazila’s Pona area on Tuesday afternoon. The injured are admitted to Gopalganj and Kashiani hospitals. Muksudpur Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Hossain Mohammad Raihan said four people were killed after a passenger bus heading to Pirojpur from Dhaka collided with a brick-laden truck coming from the opposite direction. Rescue operation of fire service and highway police were still in progress during the filing of this report on Tuesday evening.
