IPOH: Four individuals who were in close contact with the 39th Singaporean case of the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCov) have been tested negative for the virus. Perak Health Department director Datuk Dr Ding Lay Ming was addressing claims that have gone viral messages on social media that the individuals from Pusing here had been in close contact with the Singaporean. "The Health Ministry through Malaysia International Health Regulation (IHR) Focal Point was alerted by the Singapore IHR Focal Point on the 39th positive case involving its citizen. Dr Ding said Singapore IHR Focal Point had informed the ministry that there were four Malaysians who came in close contact with the Singaporean. "Based on the information given, Kinta district Health Office had conducted contact tracing and managed to trace four of them.
