King Henry VIII college offering commonwealth students scholarships


CYBERJAYA (Bernama): The British-education King Henry VIII (KH 8) College based here is offering ten scholarships this year, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme. He said applications for the KH 8 College Commonwealth Scholarship Awards will open in June for the September 2020 intake. Commonwealth secretary-general, Baroness Patricia Scotland, who launched the inaugural Commonwealth Scholarship Awards, and Christ College Brecon chair of governors, Sir Paul Silk, were also present. KH 8 College is the sister school of one of the UK’s oldest schools, Christ College in Brecon, Wales, which was founded by King Henry VIII in 1541. "We may open the scholarship to other year groups later, but to begin with, it will be for the sixth form students.
