'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' actor Bhavya Gandhi's father succumbed to COVID-19 recently. Vinod Gandhi tested positive for coronavirus a few weeks ago and his family struggled to get a bed for him in the hospital for his treatment. During a recent interaction, Bhavya's mother Yashoda Gandhi spoke at length about the struggle the whole family faced due to a lack of smooth treatment. She revealed that she last saw him on April 23, 2021, while he was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. A chest scan showed a 5% infection but the doctor suggested home isolation and medication after consulting a specialist.
