A former Ports of Auckland manager whose assets have been frozen is now facing 50 dishonesty charges. Paul Wayne Bainbridge,51, appeared in the Auckland District Court for the first time on Monday, charged with 50 counts of dishonestly using an invoice for a pecuniary advantage. Ports of Auckland reportedly successfully obtained freezing orders against Bainbridge at a High Court hearing in September. Bainbridge and Vuniduvu will reappear in front of a court registrar before the end of the month.
