Sean Vanderklis was stopped on Highway 11/17 travelling 170 kilometres per hour in April 2022. THUNDER BAY - A former host of a local CBC Thunder Bay Radio program is facing two charges from a traffic stop in April 2022. Counsel for 36-year-old Sean Vanderklis appeared in a Thunder Bay Courtroom on Friday to speak to the charges. Vanderklis is charged with one count of stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act and one count of operating a motor vehicle while impaired over 80. Vanderklis was born in the Niagara region and hired by CBC Thunder Bay in September 2021 as the new host of Superior Morning.
