BMA said in a condolence message said that its lifetime member Quasem died at Square Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon. BMA President Mahmud Hasan and General Secretary M Iqbal Arslan expressed 'deep sorrow' over the death of Quasem in the message. Quasem was elected president of BMA twice. He worked as the chief of Dhaka Medical College's anatomy department. Quasem, also a former president of Bangladesh Anatomy Society left behind two daughters and a son.
