Foreigners with immigration cases nabbed at NAIA – The Manila Times

A Chinese woman wanted for illegal online gaming and an overstaying British man were stopped from leaving the country, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said on Friday. Immigration Port Operations Division chief Grifton Medina bared that Chen had been blacklisted by the BI as an undesirable alien. Immigration records showed that Fawsitt had been overstaying in the Philippines for five years, and has a pending deportation case. Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente warned aliens with deportation cases against trying to take advantage of easing of departure rules due to the coronavirus lockdown. It would be a 24-hour hotline that would provide medical advice to questions, as well as provide reliable information about Covid-19 to our employees,” Morente said.
