Howard Staff, 66, suffered chest injuries during a break-in at the home he shared with his brother in Gibson Close, Wigston, Leics., on Monday. "Mr Staff has been described as a "gentle man" by his family who was no threat to anyone. On Thursday (16/1) Mr Staff's family issued a statement paying tribute to a "gentle man". They said: "Howard was a family orientated man who shared a close relationship with his brother who he'd lived with for many years. "A storeman in Leicester for most of his life, he was a gentle man who wished no harm to anyone.
