(file photo)Firefighters were called out to Auckland's military airbase after a C-130 Hercules experienced engine trouble. A Defence Force spokesperson said the Hercules experienced a technical problem with one of its four engines, which was shut down as a precaution. Fire and Emergency NZ communications shift manager Paul Radden said they were called to the Royal New Zealand Air Force base in Whenuapai at 1.20pm. The Defence Force spokesperson said the aircraft's engine would be checked.
