KUALA LUMPUR: Fire razed two floors of a four-storey building and several makeshift wooden stores in Jalan Sultan near here early Sunday. City Fire and Rescue Department director Khirudin Drahman said the fire was believed to have started at the stores which were used to keep fruits. It then spread to the four-storey building housing a Chinese medical centre. Khirudin said 40 firemen from the Hang Tuah, Pudu, Sentul, Bandar Tun Razak and Sri Hartamas fire stations rushed to the scene after being alerted at about 6.20am.
