At least six fire crews spent several hours battling a house fire in Bulls, near Palmerston North, last night. Emergency services were called to McHardie St just before 6.40pm, a police spokeswoman said. Police helped control traffic around the fire, near the intersection of McHardie Rd and State Highway 3. AdvertisementCentral fire service shift manager Chris Dalton said everyone in the house was accounted for. Six fire engines, a command unit and two tankers took about two hours to put out the fire.
