A woman wrongly accused of stealing a wig off a shop mannequin claims she was racially targeted. Amanda Lobo, 40, headed into the St Lukes shopping centre on Friday June 9, looking for a new jacket. AdvertisementThey asked to look in her bags, then told her she'd been caught shoplifting a wig from a mannequin. "They said 'you've been caught shoplifting, you've been caught on camera putting a wig in your bag as you were walking out of Portmans'," Lobo told the Herald. An email from Portmans St Lukes to Lobo said they were "very sorry about the mistaken identity".
