Twisted corrugated iron, debris and ash are all that's left of a house that went up in flames in Hawke’s Bay on Tuesday morning. A helicopter crew and firefighters from across the region were called to the blaze on Waikoau Road near Tangoio about 10.40am. The fire spread to trees surrounding the property, but with no wind, fire crews were able to control the flames quickly.
