Nearly 40 people, most of them journalists with a Hindi daily, were present in the building at the time of the incident. The cause of the fire is being investigated, said a senior police officer. Those present inside at the time of the incident said they exited the high-rise after the entire building got filled with smoke, making it difficult for them to breathe.
