Of the six Scottish beaches to feature on the list, Findhorn was selected as one of the best. Criteria includes water quality, cleanliness, accessibility, car-parking facilities, lifeguard presence, hygiene levels at restrooms and showers, and dog-friendliness. Described as “more Iberian than Caledonian”, the beach’s local amenities, excellent water quality and dolphin watching spots were praised.
