A fifth arrest has been made in connection with the homophobic attack of a couple on a London bus. The attack is being treated as a hate crime by the Metropolitan police. The alleged assault – during which a phone and a bag were stolen – happened in the early hours of May 30th. Speaking to the BBC on Friday, the couple said that they would not be frightened into hiding their sexuality after the attack.
