Edinburgh, who led Orient back to promotion to the Football League in 2018-19 by winning the National League, remains in hospital. A club statement read: "Leyton Orient continues to liase with the Edinburgh family closely and Justin remains as per the update posted on June 4, 2019. The previous statement from Leyton Orient on Tuesday read: "Following Justin Edinburgh's admission to hospital on Monday morning, we would like to thank every supporter, club and organisation that has sent messages for Justin. "We are supporting the Edinburgh family closely, and the club's medical team is liaising with the specialist staff at the hospital where he is receiving the best possible care. Edinburgh, who also spent time with Southend and Portsmouth during his playing career, took over at Leyton Orient in 2017.
