Father leaves it to courts to punish those responsible for tahfiz school fire


SHAH ALAM: "I have forgiven them, and I leave it to the courts to punish them because what they did was wrong." These were the words of Nasron Mat Yusof, 46, the father of two victims of Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah Tahfiz School fire two weeks ago, when asked to comment on the six teenagers charged in connection with the incident. "I lost a son in this incident, another is in hospital ward now. I have forgiven those responsible, but I hope they will repent and get the guidance they need in this life. Nor Hisham's son Wan Muhammad Danish Hisham, 14, sustained burns on his nose, ears and hands in the incident.
