This seems to have been the main reason as to why South Sudan seceded from the larger Sudan and sadly remains the motivation behind South Sudanese massacring of each other. One wonders just for how long this killings will go on in South Sudan. Can’t the people of South Sudan learn from mistakes and settle these disputes peacefully, look to live in peace with each other and think about developing their Country and not destroying it with hatred. I would wish to proffer tested and tried conflict resolution strategies that can help actors in South Sudan find a lasting solution to the unending violence. To date, conflict in South Sudan has occasioned the death of tens of thousands of people and displacement of more than 1.6 million since the civil war broke out in December 2013.
