"It was just so nice to get a look at those really big heights I've never really jumped at before. That would be the best lead-in to the Commonwealth Games I could hope for." Commonwealth Games-bound Aucklander Nick Southgate won the men's competition with a best clearance of 5.10m, just missing all three attempts at 5.35.
