PREVIOUS BOTTLE STORE BATTLES:- Harewood residents successfully opposed a bottle store in July 2017 after a petition against the licence gained about 1100 signatures. - In December 2015, Edgeware residents successfully opposed an off-licence bottle store on the corner of Hills Rd and Dudley St. A week later, residents from Opawa successfully quashed a second proposal by the same owner to open a store on Opawa and Hawford roads.
