Nusrat's elder brother Mahmudul Hasan Noman, younger brother Rashedul Hassan Rayhan along with her mother and father are still mourning her horrific death. Nusrat's elder brother Noman, when talking to the correspondent, immediately became very emotional and nostalgic, recalling his one and only sister, Nusrat Jahan Rafi, whom he loved the most. "Eid will never again bring joy, and happiness to us," he added. Nusrat's father Musa said: "This Eid did not bring any joy for us. After she was set on fire, her family filed another case against eight people, including Sirajuddaula, on April 8.
