Thousands of devotees joined the jamaat, which was held on Wednesday morning and conducted by National Mosque Baitul Mukarram's Senior Pesh, Imam Hafez Muhammad Mizanur Rahman. President M Abdul Hamid also offered his Eid prayers at the National Eidgah. However, they had to suffer to attend the prayers due to the heavy rains that showered the city since morning. Women also attended the jamaat, held on the 260,000 sqft area of the Eidgah.
