CAIRO - 10 November 2020: Egyptโs Ministry of International Cooperation and the World Bank Group released today a new Economic report titled: โEconomic Monitor Report: From Crisis to Economic Transformation, Unleashing Egypt's Potential in Productivity and Job creationโ in the presence of H.E. In its efforts to promote effective development cooperation and ensure the optimal contribution of development cooperation projects to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Ministry of International Cooperation conducted a comprehensive mapping exercise of all current effective projects to identify their alignment with relevant SDGs. ๐๐ด๐๐ฝ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ผ๐บ๐Al-Mashat referred to the longstanding cooperation with the World Bank Group to support a resilient economy. During 2020, Egypt signed with the World Bank Group a total of four agreements in sectors of health, social solidarity and environment worth $1.15 billion. The total current portfolio of bilateral cooperation between Egypt and the World Bank totals about $5.38 billion in housing, sanitation, social solidarity, transportation, health, education, local development, petroleum, small enterprises and the environment.
