CAIRO - 14 May 2022: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Pepe Kofod held talks here Thursday with the participation of delegations of the two countries to discuss all files of bilateral relations and ways to advance them. Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez said Shoukry stressed the aspiration to enhance the various files of cooperation between Egypt and Denmark and to continue to exchange visits at various levels. The talks also dealt with consultation between Egypt and the European Union and the aspiration for Denmark's support of various cooperation files between the two sides, he noted. Combating terrorism was also discussed particularly Denmark's support for Egypt in the fight against terrorism, he added. The two ministers agreed on the need to enhance bilateral cooperation and continue with bilateral consultation and coordination, he said.
